[et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text”]Welcome to Rick William’s website. This site contains notes mostly related to technology including operating systems (MacOSX, Ubuntu Linux, Android and Microsoft Windows).

Most of the information has been compiled from other websites/forums on the internet and notes have been added which serve to remind me (and hopefully help others) with related issues. I often find that a lot of sites have been recreated or shutdown and search engine’s and other sites link to dead content. Credit is given where possible by at least including the URL of the original information. You may find some of the posts have information, and others just have hyperlinks. The ones with just hyperlinks were useful to me, but I can’t remember why, or haven’t had time to go through and add comments. Some were just plainly used as bookmarks for me in the past.

Some of the information collected has been from experiences at work, others from time spent helping family members or friends. Then there’s the times you can call me a true geek/nerd where I just test random things for the sake of learning.

I am a qualified High School (IT and Mathematics) teacher with honours, however I work in IT.

The advertising, while a lot are completely legitimate, I don’t necessarily promote or trust them all. Please be careful when clicking.
